“Somewhere we know that without silence words lose their meaning, that without listening, speaking no longer heals, that without distance, closeness cannot cure.”

Spiritual practices are creative ways to breathe new life into your soul. They are ancient methods which allows us to be in a posture hear from God, to get know know Him and love Him more intimately. When we retreat, we take a pause in our busy schedules, and say “yes” to the invitation to linger in the Divine’s Presence.

Through solitude and silence we can create space that allows our mind, body, heart and soul to receive what it requires to continue on the spiritual journey. As Parker Palmer so beautiful says

“The soul is like a wild animal- tough, resilient, savvy, self-sufficient and yet exceedingly shy. If we want to see a wild animal, the last thing we should do is to go crashing through the woods, shouting for the creature to come out. But if we are willing to walk quietly into the woods and sit silently for an hour or two at the base of a tree, the creature we are waiting for may well emerge, and to of the corner of an eye we will catch a glimpse of the precious wildness we seek.”

Whether it is a half day, full-day or weekend retreat I offer Spiritual Direction and creative spiritual practices to enhance your time restoring your soul.
